A NEW VIEW
My mission is to inspire and empower young people through the art of photography. I aim to provide foundational skills and hands-on experience that enhances their creative potential, encourage storytelling, and enable self-expression through visual media.
Exploring things that make you happy. Mental health & social media are huge topics in this day and age. I would love to influence young peoples’ perspective of their lives & them as individuals, as well as emphasise the importance of finding beauty in the small things, whether it be a sunset/flowers blooming in spring/making someone smile.
This photography workshop for young people presents an opportunity to meet a growing demand for creative and skill-based educational programs. By focusing on a structured yet creative learning experience, this workshop will attract young, aspiring photographers and provide them with foundational skills to excel in photography.

At Youthreach Celbridge, we were absolutely delighted to work with photographer Grace Halton as part of the Creative Schools Initiative. Grace was incredibly engaging, and her warm, relaxed personality helped her build genuine connections with our students. This gave them the confidence to try something new and really enjoy the learning process.
Grace facilitated a twoday introductory photography workshop, which our students loved from start to finish. They were so proud of the amazing photographs they captured around our local area here in Celbridge. Grace provided creative and fun workshops that she was more than willing to tailor to our needs. Her hands on, experiential learning approach suited students of all abilities and levels of interest. Her professionalism, enthusiasm and genuine interest in our students and their work was obvious throughout the project. By the end of the programme each student had developed basic photography skills, written reflectively about the process and created an individual piece of work to be proud of.

Grace was an absolute delight to collaborate with. She integrated herself beautifully into the community of Ballynacarigy, Co.Westmeath. Grace was so adaptable and flexible in her facilitation towards the group that ended up being in an educational setting within a country primary school. The children had such an incredible experience and are keen to have this opportunity brought back again in the new academic year. We would gladly work with Grace again in our family resource centre and we wish her every success on her future endeavours. Many thanks again, a very successful experience.

Grace' s photography workshop is the best all-round, providing the perfect blend of instruction and hands on teaching. We had hired Grace to run a week long workshop with a group of young people between the ages 14-18 years.
